How LifeSpring came to be
“Whirlwind” wouldn’t even begin to describe the inception of this vibrant collection of believers. A group of people in Mason County felt that God wanted more of them than they could achieve alone. They began to pray and ask God to show them what to do. In the process, they contacted the leadership of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church and an amazing relationship began.
This amazing community of faith was now under way under a new title, the LifeSpring Community Church, which is a satellite campus of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church. This is a unique relationship that is emerging as one of the most effective models of church leadership around the world.
After a short period of holding their worship services on Sunday evening at Christ Academy, the church moved their services to Sunday mornings and have seen solid growth that is solidifying their presence in the religious community of Mason County.
